Birth of Prophet Jesus (PBUH) and Prophet Muhammad (PBUH)

Volunteers of NEICC Organization in Syracuse celebrated the Mawlid – birth of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and Prophet Jesus (PBUH) together with the community of Wood Hath Hope.

The event started with the short summary of Prophet Muhammad’s (PBUH) life reading and then singing of the hymn “571’de Bir Gunes Dogdu (Tala’ al Badru ‘Alayna)” with the English translation. Then the birth of Prophet Jesus (PBUH) was read both from Quran and Bible and it was followed by the hymns picturing his birth.

The event was ended with the prayers for peace and friendship and everyone enjoyed potluck style with delicious food together.
