Family Halaqa Recap: “2025 Balkan Trip and the Importance of Education”

On Friday, October 10th, 2025, the North East Islamic Community Center (NEICC) hosted a heartwarming Family Halaqa at Harmony Point, featuring Imam Mahmoud Hamza as the guest speaker.

The evening’s topic, “2025 Balkan Trip and the Importance of Education,” beautifully connected faith, culture, and the pursuit of knowledge. Imam Mahmoud shared his inspiring reflections on how travel strengthens our spiritual understanding and how education shapes the next generation of leaders. His words encouraged families to value learning as a continuous journey of faith and growth.

The event concluded with a delightful community potluck dinner, where families enjoyed a variety of homemade dishes, laughter, and meaningful conversations that strengthened bonds within our growing community.
