Wayne Muslim Heritage Festival
Alhamdulillah, with the permission and help of Allah, the Wayne Muslim Heritage Festival was a wonderful success. Despite the cold weather and concerns about the snow, the turnout was strong and the atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and full of life.
Thanks to the sincere efforts of our volunteers and partner organizations, the event brought together cultural heritage tables, an Islamic museum, traditional arts, live performances, children’s activities, and food, reflecting the richness and diversity of our community. It was truly uplifting to see families, youth, and elders enjoying the day together.
Among the many attendees, we were honored by the presence of Wayne Mayor Christopher P. Vergano, New Jersey State Senator Kristin M. Corrado, Assemblyman Al Barlas, and Assemblyman Christopher DePhillips, who is always a strong supporter of our community. We sincerely appreciate their time, presence, and continued support.
We are deeply grateful to everyone who helped plan, support, and participate in this event. A special thank you to our dedicated volunteers and coordinators whose hard work made everything run smoothly. And thank you to all who attended—your presence and encouragement meant a great deal to our volunteers.
May Allah accept all efforts and allow this gathering to be a source of goodness, understanding, and unity within our community.
