NEICC SEMINAR: “The Miracle of Birth”

North East Islamic Community Center hosted the “The Miracle of Birth” seminar in Sunnyside NY on April 3rd, 2016 Saturday evening.The distinguished speaker, Dr. Zehra Tekin, talked about  “The Miracle of Birth”.  Dr. Tekin works as a resident in Internal Medicine Department of Queens Hospital. She talked about three main topics History of Embryology, Embryology in Qur’an and the Fetal development. We looked deeper into verses from the Quran and analyzed the miracle that has us all amazed.The miracle of birth is one of Allah’s paramount miracles and Allah’s  supreme sanctifications.  Every birth is a reminder that man is the chef d’oeuvre of Allah’s creation.  To understand and acknowledge the miracle of birth we need to know and recognize the miracle of life. All guests left with astonishment and amazed at all they have learned and the evening ended with a birthday celebration of three of our youngest audience.
