AFTER SCHOOL ACTIVITIES

 

To celebrate and honor the birth of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), students and teachers at Brooklyn Afterschool gathered together on Monday, November 19, 2018. Throughout the day, students learned the life of our beloved prophet such as his childhood, life before prophethood and life after prophethood. Students stuied strenuously and walked around with their noses burried in their notebooks, preparing for the Jeopardy game that awaited at the end. When the time finally came, they split into 4 groups and competed with one another, testing each others knowledge. Students were tested on vocabulary, our prophet’s family, and many more topics. In the end, Group 1 claimed first place with 1950 points! We all enjoyed the game and had some cake and goodie bags prepared specially for this day. Through fun games and activities, we spent the day learning about our role model elhamdulillah.
