My Hero and Children Day Fair 2016

North East Islamic Community Center and Upstate NY TCC Rochester weekend school`s students prepared unique projects about their own Hero! On April 23th of 2016.

Each student select a hero, from Mevlana, Fatih Sultan Mehmet, M. Fethullah Gulen, Mehmet Akif Ersoy, Sutcu Imam,to Deli Halid Pasa  from Ahiska and many others. The students worked with excitement on their project.

Main goal of the project is to teach our student religious and cultural values with tangible work which increase our students` knowledge about the important people that impact society positively. With the knowledge they learn how it can be relate in their life and the community. Weekend School students made the presentation in front of audience with honor. At the end of the program, Almina Saricali sing the song called April 23th Children day, Ali Akhmedzhanov read Ahiskan children poem called “Do not Let Children Cry” and some students present folk dance.
