NEICC BROOKLYN SOCIAL FAMILY BRUNCH

North East Islamic Community Center organized Social Family Brunch at NEICC Brooklyn Main Office. It was a social gathering event with friends and families from all walks of life. The participants enjoyed the multicultural food and had an opportunity to meet one another. After the brunch, they had a chance to listen to the spiritual lecture given by Ibrahim Sayar, the director of Interfaith Affairs of Peace Islands Institute.

The topic of the lecture was patience. Mr. Sayar explained types of patience, which he classified as,
1. Patience in the face of misfortune
2. Patience in avoiding sins
3. Patience in observing regular acts of worship
4. Patience in relation to time
His delivery was very engaging and enlightening.
