NEICC Community Leadership Seminar 3

 

North East Islamic Community Center organized a three-session workshop on community leadership. The third session was held on Sunday, November 10th  in Clifton, NJ. This sessions topic mainly focused on identifying and practicing effective communication skills:  Create – Designing content for effective learning, adult learning principles, using assessment cycle to improve learning, building accountability for learners.

The instructor of the program allowed participants to list strengths and barriers to each element. Attendees gained a better understanding of how to lead more effectively and create stronger group norms by using these key elements. They practiced strategies on building a caring community and developing group norms.
