NEICC INTRAFAITH DIALOGUE COMMUNITY IFTAR
North East Islamic Community Center of New Jersey annual community iftar dinner was held at Clifton Turkish Cultural Center on May 22st, 2018 Tuesday. The attendance was very diverse. Program started with Quran recitation by Yusuf Kocaman who is graduated from Edep Academy Homeschool. After welcome speech by Ahmet Idil who is the marketing manager of Blue Dome Inc, The Fountain Editor-in-Chief Hakan Yesilova’s talk was about interfaith and intrafaith dialogue.Imam Mohammed Ibrahim who is Chaplain of Bergen County gave a speech about fasting and Ramadan with amazing and interesting approach. After Prayers program continued with Azan and duaa by syekh Nadi and iftar (fast breaking). During the dinner following the Magrib prayer, the open mic question of the night was “ What does Ramadan remind you?”. All of the guest enjoyed a peaceful, friendly Ramadan night.
