D. BILAL BEASLEY COMMUNITY CENTER witnesses a charity event with the cooperation of 4 organizations as Embrace Relief, W.D. Muhammad Group (Masjid Waarith ud Deen), Edep Academy and North East Islamic Community Center. Embrace Relief with its volunteers prepared Eid al Adha Boxes consisting ground beef and cubed beef along with toys for the kids. W D Muhammad group open up the D. Bilal Beasley Center’s doors to the event and joined to the gift basket distribution with its volunteer with the Imam Wahy-ud Deen Shareef’s lead. Edep Academy and North East Islamic Community Center (NEICC) join the event with its students and volunteers. At the event, 120 boxes of meat and around 100 gift basket with toys were delivered to the people in need. Imam Wahy-ud Deen Shareef and Halil Atas, NEICC volunteer community service advisor made speech about how important to get together and increase friendship by knowing each other. Imam Wahy-ud Deen Shareef said this is all about getting to know each other and we will continue to do these kind of events together. Osman Dulgeroglu, CEO of Embrace Relief mentioned about their charity activities both in United States and in the other countries. Serhat Sen, director of Homeschooling program in Edep Academy introduced their program and helped the event with students. Event has finished with a brief lunch after all the boxes are delivered. Group members will get together in the hearing on September 25th to support of opening in new masjid in orange.
