NEICC SOCIAL FAMILY NIGHT
NEICC New Jersey organized its monthly social family night gathering on Friday January 6th 2017 at TCC Clifton. The community members enjoyed the pot luck food first then listened to the guest speaker. The speaker was Murat Teke who shared the story of his parents and grandmother who migrated from Russia. Mr. Teke also talked about how they settled in U.S and how his family’s reaction to religion in general was at the beginning. He then told that his parents and grandmother were the ones who founded the first mosque in NJ which is Ulu Cami located in Paterson.
