NEICC SOCIAL FAMILY NIGHT PROGRAM

NEICC held its monthly social gathering on Feb 2nd, at Turkish Cultural Center, Clifton, NJ. Program started with potluck dinner from various delicious international cuisines and followed by Quran recitation by Mr.Jameel Bangali. Following the Quran recitation, guest speaker Mr. Suleyman Eris, director of Respect Graduate School (Private Islamic Graduate School located in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania) gave a speech on the subject of  “Diversity and Pluralism among Muslims”.  Mr. Eris talked about different schools of Islam in terms of faith and practice. He gave examples from Quran verses and hadiths to give an audience a broad idea how to deal with multiplicity and pluralism in Islam. Program concluded with a Q&A session.
