NEICC VOLUNTEER TRAINING WORKSHOP

 

On Sunday October 28th, NEICC held its annual workshop about volunteering in correctional facilities. The event was a success with more than 80 attendees from all over the North East. The program was broadcast live through Zoom for volunteers all around the United States. Speakers were prominent chaplains such as Sacit Arvasi and Fatma Susan Tufan. Some of the topics included how to deliver lectures in correctional facilities, what they need, and muslim female chaplains’ role in correctional facilities. Participants received a certificate of completion at the end of the program.
