Phenomenal Qur’an Competition

New York, September 19, 2015- North East Islamic Community Center (NEICC) and Turkish Cultural Center (TCC) in New York have together organized a phenomenal Qur’an Competition for Elementary and Middle School students. Participants have demonstrated their outstanding performance to the audience. The program started with “Besmele” and “Salavat” and continued with student stage performances. Opening speech given by Theologian Vedat Bayraktar, has appreciated all student accomplishments and acknowledged the teachers and parents for all their effort. 55 students have competed in four different categories. The first five winners of each category were awarded with a gift. The program ended with congratulating and rewarding all the competitors with gift.
