390. Ibn Abbas, may Allah be pleased with him, reported that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Do not drink at one go like the camel, rather drink taking two or three breaths. Say the Name of Allah (Bismillah) when you drink and praise Him (Alhamdulillah) when you finish.” (Sunan at-Tirmidhi, Ashriba, 13).
