THE CONDITIONS OF PRAYER

There are twelve compulsory conditions of performing the prayer.

The six acts are compulsory prior to the prayer are the actions necessary to perform worship. These are called the “Conditions of Prayer.”

The six obligatory acts during the prayer are the actions that must be included in the prayer for the prayer to be valid, and these are referred to as the “Rukns, or Elements, of Prayer.”
